ABOUT LENNY MONSOU
Born and raised in a family of musicians, Lenny Monsou got access to a professional home studio at an early age. His father being a drummer (Time Bandits, Moonflower) and producer and his mother a singer (Moonflower). When his older brother Daniel Monsou picked up the guitar, Lenny soon followed his example and started writing his own songs at the age of 10. When he was 12 he released his first songs on an actual CD. He started playing piano as well. But singing and writing songs became his true passion. Lenny was accepted at the pop/rock school Herman Brood Academy as their youngest student at 15 and developed his producing skills, writing and singing in a killer pace. In 2022 he graduated with the highest score possible for Artistic Skills (grade 10).
Lenny always dreamed of signing with a major record label before his twentieth birthday. And guess what? At 19 years old, he signed a major deal with Warner Music Benelux in October 2023. He performed a full show at Eurosonic Noorderslag, even before officially releasing any music. Lenny released his debut single "Never Fall In Love" in april 2024. In the summer, Lenny opened for S10 and was named 3FM Talent when he blew away 3FM DJ's with his live performance of his second single "Telephone" on 3FM. Lenny released his debut EP with the titeltrack "Idolizer" October 25, 2024.
He played live at Serious Request for 3FM and was the main act on their stage at ESNS Noorderslag 2025. NTR broadcasted Lenny live at national TV and in Februari 2025 Lenny was nominated for Best Newcomer for the 3FM AWARDS.
